Real-Time Programming
Just like it’s picoBoo brothers, the BooBox 4 can be easily programmed using the on-board buttons. The ScareMaster can also be used if you’ve got one handy. The ScareMaster also makes changing any of the BooBox 4’s settings dead simple.

Audio
The BooBox 4 uses a flash memory sound chip which makes it easy to playback and record up to 4 minutes of sound. Hook up any audio device to the BooBox 4’s audio-in and record the desired sound straight into the chip. No computer, no drivers, no converting sound

Amplifier
The BooBox 4 includes a 13 watt class D amplifier, just connect a speaker and you're ready to rock. For those with larger sound

Trigger Inputs
The BooBox 4 has two optically-isolated trigger inputs, different scares can be programmed for each trigger. Adjustable pre and post-delays ensure the scare goes off exactly when you want it to.

Operating Modes
No Scare Sound - Ambient music continues playing
Trigger Controlled Scare Length - The scare plays only as long as the trigger is held, looping if necessary. Great for actor-controlled scares such as electric chairs.
Timer Mode - Scare on a repeating schedule up to 15 min.

Relay Outputs
Four 5 amp relay outputs make it possible to control just about anything . The relays can control 120 volts directly., each output can also be set to normally-closed. Solid-state outputs are also an option if low voltage solenoids are going to be used.

AC Outputs
While you can still wire 120V AC devices to the BooBox 4’s four relay outputs, the safest and easiest way to switch AC is to connect our AC Relay Pack. Just plug one into the expansion port and the BooBox 4 will control the outlets as if they were its own.

Ambient and Scare Modes
When the BooBox 4 isn’t scaring, it is by default in ambient mode. Program the sound chip of the BooBox 4 with what you want the patrons to hear as they approach the scare, a little foreshadowing of the terror to come. The BooBox 4 can also animate the outputs during ambient mode.
